Default Assistance with Key Identification Please

See attachment. Key is approx. 5-6 inches in length. Appears to be quite old but I sure wouldn't bet a lot of money on that.

It's not in my key book (Don Stewart "Key Collectors - Key Type Identification Guide")

    Does anyone recognize this?

It is not currently my key. I can go back and get measuewments/weight if needed. Thinking about making this person an offer for the key but I need to get range of fair values. The owner is a friend and I said I'd try t identify it before we discuss price.

One other thing... the photo does not show this but there is a hole in the shaft - i.e. it is a "barrel"-type key.

    Thanks, Gerry

So do you know if this is a door key or something else?
