Default What key is this ?

    Hi!

I have a little problem. I found this key few years ago from my granddads old house when he passed away. It was inside a little closet next to his important papers and documents. Can somebody say what is the use of this ? I have no idea. Is it an old locker room key, safety key, bicycle key or what ?

    Thanks for help

Did your grandfather have a safety deposit box at a bank nearby? I'm not sure what the keys for safety deposit boxes in your country would look like, but it's worth a shot. Good luck, Mark

    Default Trelock

Yep, it's for bicycles, this type of lock: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Altes-Trelock...d/111573448052
It's mounted on the side of the bike frame and can be pushed between spokes. Then, the wheel doesn't turn free. But with some force, it could also be broken...
The company name is Trelock: http://www.trelock.de/

mhmh, thanks for the actual lock. I've never seen a bike lock like that. I just kind of figured as how he found the key in a closet with other important papers and documents that just maybe it went to a lock money box. Now if only he can find where his grandfather left his bicycle.... Mark
