    Default Old small Reese padlock

I purchased a lot of seven padlocks off ebay, and I found this one to be quite interesting. I am looking for the manufacturing year on this little padlock or any other info.

The padlock says Reese on both sides in medium size letters, and below the words Reese it says made in USA on both sides.

    Thanks!

I'm no expert on Reese locks, but I believe from the shape of the stamped tin that it was made in the 50's. It's a simple warded design that was mass produced and sold in dime stores. Lots of them still around and not worth much, less than $5 for sure:(

The design looks like the German warded locks with the 3 key logo on them. This Reese has great patina.....I like it! =)
