Default Unusual Verdun pin key padlock from Hungary

Had this one for years- have never seen another one, but I'm guessing there must be plenty of them out there.

Has a serial number 8537 on the side and shackle, and the body is marked:
    PATENT
    SERIE 0
    KATZKY RT
    VERDUN MUVEK RT
    MADE IN HUNGARY

Don't think this keys original as the couple of pics I found on the net shows a more basic but practical flat strip key with a hole for attachment- this ones been nicely made and matches the steel and shape of the padlock body, but has no provision for carrying.

Bump! Has been a long and patient wait on this one still hoping someone might know a bit more about them.

Google searches still Produce the same few pictures, and other than one selling for only 30 odd dollars a few years back I still can't find anything more.

Seems odd that such a distinctive and relatively recent mass produced European padlock should become so elusive.
