    Default Corliss cannonball safe

Trying to find out the value of a circa 1800 Corliss cannonball safe. The safe was included in a puchased we made of an old textile mill in south. It is approx. 5 ft 5 in, 4ft in deep, 4 ft wide. Weight approx. 12000 lbs.

Cannonball safes were first made in the mid 1870s.

It is impossible to put a value on yours without more information, such as :

Is the safe open/can you open it?
Do you have the combinations & does the safe work?
    Is the time lock intact?
Does the safe have any significant history that you can corroborate?
What condition is the safe in? (Pictures would help here )

With the above information, there are people here who can give you an idea as to it's value.

Keep in mind that whilst some of these safes are quite valuable, there is a very limited market for them - safe collectors are a small group & safe collectors able to move & accommodate such a heavy safe are even more scarce.
