Interesting old Yale padlock
My grandpa gave me this old yale padlock, and I have no clue of the year or value of it so if anyone has any information on it please do tell.
Its seems to have 3 rivets on the front, 5 rivets on the back, a big yale sign on the front in the center, and the yale & towne MFG company words plus Stamford Conn on the shackle.

Re: Interesting old Yale padlock
Don't know when it was patented or how long it was manufactured, but I have a Yale poster from 1925 that shows one that looks just like it. Model no. 9425B (Cast Bronze Case and Shackle). 3" tall closed; body is 2" wide? Sold for $1.35 in 1925.
Very nice keepsake from your grandpa.

Acquisitions destroy so much. In February, I think, the new owner of Lebtig said "junk it" and the complete Kromer archive was disposed off.
