I sure wish I'd taken more and better pictures, but I really wish I'd done a better job of getting everyone's names so I could properly caption these.

This guy did amazing work. I'm pretty sure his name was Bill. I think 2 out of every 3 people I met there was named Bill. Sorry, Bill, I'm terrible with names. Anyway, he cut away most of the front face of large, old padlocks and left the big, decorative logos with levers & springs peeking out behind. Simply beautiful.

Pete Schaefer was one name I did get. Pete is great guy with an amazing collection of padlocks with decorative embossed logos. This was my favorite table at the show.

    Default Update to LLS photos

I have been informed that the splendid cutaway locks were the work of Randall Oxley of Concord, MA.

I hope we can find out and get a better picture of the item in the center of the display because that is a padlock and not a key. I've never seen one with a cover like that one.

Default Update to Roman key collection

The owner of the Roman key collection is Dr. Ronald Deitch. I have been given his contact info. I'd rather not post it in an open forum so if you want to get in touch with him, message me and I will give it to you.

CORRECTION: The Roman keys in my pictures were from the collection of Steve Sommers. Dr. Deitch had a different, smaller display. Phone number available upon request.
