    Default A little key ...

While not an antique, as it was made (by me) for a lock from Ireland it does show that there must be some big keys out there for collectors to find !

The whole key was fabricated from scratch, and my Daughter (then aged two) took rather a shine to it ..

Imagine the size of the lock let alone the size of the door! Did you cut the bit from the original key or did you have to cut from the locking mechanism? Impressive work either way - thanks for posting it :)

I bet that took a while to make up!

Was it hand made or did you use a milling machine??

    Fantastic, proper locksmithing that is.
Thanks also for posting all the extra lock photos recently.

PS If I had just finished polishing that, it would be kept well away from sticky fingers!
