Acquisitions destroy so much. In February, I think, the new owner of Lebtig said "junk it" and the complete Kromer archive was disposed off.

This is one of the reasons that HoLRSG was formed. So far we have Ingersol, Chubb, Tann, Milner, Hobbs, Chatwood and Chatwood Milner ledgers, serial numbers and a vast amount of other historical paperwork. We have or are forming specialised enthusiast groups within HoLRSG to scan/digitise and decipher these historically important archives, most of which will be available to those wishing to refer to them although John (safeman) quite rightly doesn’t think the serial number records should be on-line because they contain sensitive information so we are also deciding as we go through everything what access should be given to each document. Do join the group if you want to be involved.
