Hi All,

As a collector of many old things I could not resist this lock when it came up for auction recently.

I have a few locks of this type but none are as large as this one at 14" long, 8"wide and 2" thick. My question is about the proportions of the key I need to make and is there a picture of a similar lock and key somewhere?

The pin would need to be 9/16" diameter and 2" long. The height of the keyhole is 1 7/8". Whatever proportion I sketch the key looks wrong, if I scale up a smaller one it would be almost 12" long and the loop would be 3 1/2" across. Any info appreciated!
