Chubby, i have followed this forum for a couple of years and just recently joined. I have some questions regarding the Chubb Resolute, in particular the barrier material, any chance you could help me with this. Jaden.

This simplified URL might be better:

Somehow it ended up in Miami. 7800 pounds. US $10,200.01 "Buy It Now." Local pickup only of course!

Now they are either very small people or that is one big safe !!

The stated weight dissapoints me. 4000 lbs which by my quick reconing is around 1.8 tonne.

Judging by the dial location, this is a scaled-up unit built for advertising and public relations purposes. Had they fully scaled-up everything, the weight would probably hinder the value, for its intended purposes.

Yes, it is big interms of volume, but certainly not a heavy duty safe.

My thoughts echo yours but we are wrong ! They have sold three of these at $15,000 each. Dimensions wise it stands 120" high x 72" wide x 48" deep giving a volume of 240 cubic feet ! It has 24 x 2.5" locking bolts. It is actually a gun cabinet but hey its worthy of mention dont you think

If I needed that much secure storage space I would certainly build a strongroom.
