I wanted to introduce myself, I am an amateur locksmith, & safe collector. I like all kinds of safe, the more unusual the better. My passion with old (pre 30s) safes. I started a thread, about some of my safes.

Thanks Doug, and I have done just that. Nice finds, I didn't think hardly anyone else shared my fascination for strongboxes, safes. My wife equates this hobby to collecting "bricks" lol, but I see them all as intricate works of art. A small space that we can lock away from almost any chance of sticky fingers.
I am actually looking into building a vault someday, and love looking at all the vault doors. Half the fun is looking & planning.
I would like to find a pre 1950's vault door from an old bank as my entrance.
