Default Want to purchase 12 functional, jail padlocks from a 1820s jail

I'm looking to purchase 12 functional (keys included) jail padlocks that would be present in an 1820s jail, specifically circa. 1823 and used in the NE United States. The locks must have keys and in good to fine condition. No reproductions.

Please provide photos and historical background of the locks (mfg, historical use etc.)

Top dollar will be paid to the best specimens.

    Thanks,

    Greg

    U.S Custom Hardware

PS- I collect skeleton keys and emblematic doorknobs from government buildings, especially The White House or U.S. and state Capitols...front door and interior doors. Must have proof of authenticity and provenance.

Good luck getting anything off the capital building or White house.

    Also welcome aboard.

Thanks! Actually, The White House and the Architect of the Capitol are clients of mine...

Even The Smithsonian has a very limited collection of White House door hardware. They do have the first key to The White House front door though, which I would be very interested in.
