Howdo from a 'lurker'

Hello to you all ! After lurking for a few months I thought it about time that I did the right thing and joined.

My main interest is safes and I usually have one or two in various stages of refurbishment (just a hobby). Always had a fascination with locks/safes although where it came from is unknown.

Current projects include two monster Tann Bankers Cash safes. Mk 8 & Mk 9. Both 5ft tall and each weigh a touch over 2 ton so yep they are monsters !! Also have a lovely Milner strong box with a VR stamp on the brass body of the lock so guess it is getting on a bit. Will try to post pictures of the inside of the box as it has some documentation stuck to the inside of the lid that some may find interesting.

Anyway great site this with loads of helpful advice and links which I hope to add to in the future.
