Default I"m looking for details about my old Corbin padlock.

    Hello,
My name is Rick Guenther. I live in Idaho USA. I received this Corbin lock from my father in law who got it from his uncle when he died. I'd like to know as much about it as possible. It has some similarities to Adrian Weber's Corbin but has a different keyway and appears to have individual plugs for each pin which would lead me to believe, based on comments in Adrian's post, that it is from the early 60's.
Can someone share some specifics with me such as the keyway and anything else that can be gleaned from the photos?
I have other photos if needed.
    Thank you,
    Rick

That particular Corbin logo would date it post 1960 and prior to the Corbin Russwin consolidation of 1993. Your thumbnail image is too small to identify the keyway. I'm told all Corbin, as well as Russwin padlocks of that era were made by the Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. of New Britain, CT, then a P & F Corbin related company.

Probably Corbin Cabinet Lock (now CCL Security Products) 4193C-AR which is the same as old P & F Corbin (now Corbin Russwin) 99-5. Numerous aftermarket substitutions available.
