Default Easy identification - Steel padlock, just can't figure out the name

Hopefully and easy identification. I just cannot make out what it says on the front. I believe it's an early 1900s steel padlock

Probably Indian in origin, the shape and the rivets are a dead giveaway. Could be old (or quite new) there is no way to tell with those locks.

Do you know what the brand etching might be? Due to where I got it and the workings inside, I don't think its a fake, but who knows. I'm really just trying to identify it so I can compare to real models.

It's not a fake of any kind. It's exactly what it is a padlock made in India (it's not pretending to be anything else !)

Sorry - no idea of the brand name, there are (& where) dozens (if not scores) of them.

The name looks like "SHAHEEN LOCK" to me.
