I am Tom Spencer from Maryland, USA. I collect pancake locks (both warded and push-key), as well as Chubb padlocks and safe plates. I am very pleased to have become a member of this great site.

Welcome aboard! Hope to see some of your locks. I only have a few common padlocks like the type you mention.... more for my own practice as I am a locksmith.

Thanks. It's great to be here. There are about 675 known varieties of pancakes, and I have about 275 of them. The rarer ones are hard to find and can be very expensive. I've only been looking for Chubb padlocks for about six months.

    Hey spencer,

    welcome to our cummunity 28nerd29
I am still searching for a nice pancake lock NOS or good condition with original key. If you have one twice I would be interested since I do not have a single one yet

Hello. Good to hear from you. I do have a few duplicates, but none is in very good condition. I believe you could find a common example (Champion, for instance) in good shape for not very much money.
