I had expected to get more but if it had to go so low then at least it was MrWizard who got it.

Isn't it interesting how some really neat padlocks go for so little money and others sell for hundreds if not thousands?
In some cases it is good for the buyer as in my situation but I also had many situations where I just hoped to get something and did not get it in the End because it went to high.

I really prefer to trade locks, it is more fun. At least for me personally.

But you know which locks I enjoy most?
The ones that are given to you

I still have that American Lock Junkunc padlock that I restored in sooo many hours standing right in front of me. My friend Bill gave that to me. For him it was nothing special, for me it was one of the nicest gifts that I have ever received.

    Default antique Sargent padlock

Dicey, I too like locks designed by the Junkunc bros.. I have more padlocks than combinations........I think my favorite is the old version which later became the H10'
I have a BRASS one, & one without the pin on the back side.. I think the brass one is not too common.. I have only one of these...
These are in my possession & I can take photos if needed
Their early combination 2 # is really neat the way the "gears open up"
