    Default Two-Part Round Door

Here's something unusual, a round vault door made in two parts. This is common with rectangular doors. Any idea who made it? This is at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...n-inner-harbor), in Baltimore. See also http://1800recycling.com/2011/08/repurposed-bank-vaults for more images (and other recycled vaults).

    Default George L. Damon

This patent is very similar except it shows combination locks. The vault doors in Baltimore are automatics.

I recently ran across an interesting panoramic view of the George Damon vault at SpringHill Suites in Baltimore (which was discussed earlier):

I see they have re-carpeted the area. Many more images are at http://www.open.tours/single-post/20...ult-Board-Room including a Google virtual tour.
