Default Who has an older self locking drawer lock?

These cut drawlocks are still made by someone or other, but this one is an 1867 Chubb from 57 St Paul'sClick image for larger version.

    Default

sadly this one is missing important stuff inside but the self locking action is from the square pin that you see in this picture.

Default Self locking Deadbolt cut drawer locks

this type of lock was used by one of the high st banks up to the 1990 If it still is it was used on a slam action cash cupboard though with a round pin to activate the dead bolt to shoot on contact with the extending lip on the striking plate.
As to who makes them now is not known to me.
    Regards Ant
