Default Anyone know of this book?

There was a published American Commission report (from the 1890s) on the best methods of safe construction, which went into great detail has to how each model of safe could be tackled.

That was the U.S. Treasury report to determine the best new equipment to purchase. Many drilling and explosive tests were performed in 1892 and the report came out in 93. Doug

Doug, do you have an exact title? This could be on Google Books and/or in some libraries. Clearly so far from current that it should not pose any real risk, but certainly interesting to folks like us.

Is it this report (from 1894) --

"Letter from the Secretary of the Treasury, Transmitting Report of Special Commission of Experts as to Means of Improving Vault Facilities of the Treasury Department."

Yes that is it. I can't remember if the Cleveland library had it or I got it through the inter-library loan. And I did find it online fairly recently. Library of Congress or World Cat ?

It is in the public domain, digitized by Google, can be read online here, but very few persons will be able to download the complete pdf:

Researched and published at taxpayers' expense; now digitised and can be read online; technically, it would be possible to download as a complete ebook - but this is not permitted.
However, since my previous search, it has been reprinted as a real hardcopy book:
