    Looking over the impressive list of patents, I could not gain any insight to answer the two questions: on the relevant emergency doors, which set of lugs rotates, and how does the mechanism couple the door-mounted time locks and the frame-mounted combination locks.

    I was amused by the patent for a vault that will float when the ship sinks!
