bank vault door

I am a member of the Mount Calm City Counsil and we considering selling a vault door from a bank which was built in 1899. We are wanting to raise money to help purchase bleachers for our new baseball field. We have several people who have offered to buy it but they want to turn it into a gun safe. I wanting to find someone who would appreciate the history. Is there anybody who specialize in old vault door or any info about them. This seems to be the best site on the internet. Thank you

As much history on the bank would be a big help in the sale of this. ANY history of why they installed this door and any history after it was installed would also help get the price up. It isn't the door you are selling it is the history of the door. The more you know the better.
