    Default Victor Manganese Curved Pocket Vault Door

    Unfortunately no pictures on this one as by the time I found out about the one in Milan, Ohio it had been removed. It is doubtful any of these still are in use and probably not that many were sold but here is the catalog picture and patent. Doug

    These remind me of rotary darkroom doors.

    There are a few cases of rotating "doors" such as the New York gold reserve. Attached is an image from a brochure about that reserve. In general I find these uninteresting because there is nothing to see, unlike all those beautiful round doors with visible mechanisms.

    There was a more recent door built to such a design by a european maker. The name escapes me for the moment I do (or did) have a scan of the catalogue.

    Who built the New York facility ?
