    Default old (very) Adams lock

    got this a while back and managed to aquire a new 18th century key a new meaning to old new stock me thinks the vid explains it better though not necesarily any clearer . lock would have been mounted on a chisseled out wooden block .Not very complicated but strong hope you enjoy

    From the sound and amount of pressure to throw the bolt it seems that the key may have to be filled more?
    The acquired wear on the key beard may be affecting the correct lifting height for the detent lever and bolt?

    An establishing shot and a few in focus shots would help alot.
    Extreme close-ups aren't good unless they are in focus and held steady.

    i thought it would require a bit more filling but there is a fair bit of power in the spring as for the in focus my usual web cam refused to work and opted for digi camera but it kept auto focusing will have to reread manual for it but thanks for reply
