    Default Tyack Bicycle combination lock

Found this small combination lock in the box with instruction sheet. It is a 1 dial Tyack Bicycle Lock made by the C. H. STOELTING MFG. CO. Chicago Pat. Dec.31.85.(stamped on the back)The numbers on the front dial go from 0 - 19 and in the center the numbers 753 are on the small center dial. The combination on the paper works. The same lock shown at this URL
Combination Padlocks - 1 Dial - G thru Z - Antique Padlocks but no value is given there. It measures: 2 5/8" high x 1" diameter.
All brass. Nickel plate finish. Looking for the value. Any help is appreciated.

    Default REal value?

Would love more info than that, if available. Can find nothing on Tyack Lock Co.,in Milwaukee, WI or C.H. Stoelting Mfg. Co. in Chicago. Did find and print a copy of the patent, but other than that can find nothing. Have an offer to purchase for $150, so somewhat curious about the discrepency.

Actual value is really hard to pinpoint on any lock. That lock, being of a rather simple combination and design would sell normaly $25 -$35.But to a padlock collector who is into combo locks, and dosn't have that particuler lock it might be worth more. As with any collectable the price is what ever a person can get for it or what another person is willing to give for it. If your trying to sell it,you might try listing it on Ebay with a reserve. You might be surprised at what someone is willing to spend. As for trying to get more background info, Try Googling. Good luck, Mark
