    Default old floor safe

can someone tell me how old this safe is? it has a yale dial on it. the owner died in 1947 and took the combo with him. Anyone have in idea what its worth? it is currently locked and i have no intentions of breaking into it to find out whats inside.

I am sure you will find plenty of locksmiths who will be able to open this combination lock by manipulation for a few hundred dollars. Look in the Yellow pages; try safes first. Ask if the can manipulate combination locks - you don't want it drilled.

    It's a great looking safe.

In the UK a 'floor safe' is one fitted INTO the floor.
