Mosler cannonball safe time lock?
Hi,
A friend and I found this old Mosler Cannonball safe this weekend:
Attachment 1210
Everything seems to be there except the timelock is missing from inside the door. Does anyone know where we could buy a replacement for this?
If you have any other info on this safe that would be cool too.
Thanks,
Jeff

Nice safe. Do you have a picture of the inside of the door where the timelock should be ??

Here's a photo with the door opened:

I'll get a photo of the parts we have (We think we have everything to make it work except the timeclock) and the area behind that plate later on today.
Here it is:

Thanks,

Best of luck with the auction. The timelock would probably have had three movements. The timelock is the main point of security on some of these designs so it is quite important if the safe is to be used, finding an original model timelock might be hard but a good safe engineer could retrofit a modern one too it.

Thanks.. Why would they call this one a Quadruple?

Although I dont know about this particular type of safe, normally it would be referring to 4 patents tht they were claiming to be applied to parts of the safe or locks.

Hello,
Can you tell me which direction to turn the crank, CW or CCW, to open the door? Mine is apparently is rusted, can't budge it.
Thanks,
Jim
