Having another root about in one of the sheds and came up with these;
A foreign Office lock
A couple of simple but nice chubb and hobbs locks;
The Chubb one is of interest as much for the label as for the lock
And a little Chubb safe lock that looks similar to the 6k202 design, but that I have never seen on a safe or cabinet;
How close is it to the 6k202 on the 3 point fixings and keyhole ?
Exactly the same.
had a look at the foreign office lock again, and realised it has an anti pressure bolt stump, like the Chatwood invincible stump, I cannot remember seeing anti pressure stump on a chubb lock before, has anyone else?
Interesting this Gary, really got me thinking as something at the back of my mind is saying yes, that anti pressure setup in a Chubb like that,but memory just isn't sharp enough to be certain. Plus I can't recall seeing offset bits on a small box lock.
Nice milling/slotting and silver soldering exercise making some keys for that- i notice the bit is offset the opposite hand to the cruiser blanks!
