Have been a regular visitor to Tenby in Pembrokeshire for many years, but only just (finally) got the chance to pop up into the Napoleonic Fort on the small tidal island of St. Catherine's Rock.
Actually very little in there to see, but was worth it to see this alone.
Fitted on the inside of one leaf of the main entrance doors, it's about three foot long and the top hasp pivot is a few inches in diameter- it's pretty chunky!

The one in the Fort is about an inch thick and about 3 inches thick at the hinge!
I saw something similar on a massive, tall double door into the courtyard of a stable complex at a National Trust property many years ago.
No idea where it was now unfortunately
