Here is the lock Bill is looking for a key. Given the 4 digit code or cut numbers, I would say they were quite a few keys used. This is a very early flat key by Yale.

Looks like that cylinder likely uses the original Yale No. 1 pin tumbler blank which was flat with a trefoil bow and in use until 1882, see thumbnail attached. Probably only has four tumblers and...
