The two safes are very different, although both were made for dairies. The Chatwood is a one piece cast body and (unlike the American round Doored safes, has radially shooting bolts.
Jason, Nothing on this lock only on the ones attached. This one with the 'T' knob was fitted to a Ratner Grade 7 1925 vintage in my museum at Tanns. Regards .... John.
Anyone seen one of these Com locks before, it is an alphabet combination and on the dial it says Ratner but cant see any serial numbers on it. Anyone have any details on the lock or any paperwork...

Rare for me to see any com locks on the old safes except Chatwoods lol,but never seen a small Ratner com lock like this before. I'll ask around and see if anyone has any details or ever.seen one...
Ratner alphabet combination lock
