age of antique dresser w/ lock & key??
I'm trying to estimate the age of an antique dresser. I purchased it at auction in 1985 from items that were reportedly imported from GB (Scotland). The lock mechanism says "secure lever" in a circular design - one word forming top of circle the other forming the bottom.
The design doesn't show in the photo but it is on the right side when opening the drawer. The key is the middle size key in the photo. Any help on estimating age would be appreciated. I'm also curious about the age of other two keys -- large is for a wardrobe and small for a jewelry box purchased at the same auction.

The dresser would be about 1930 and the keys the same age or slightly newer.

Thanks for the info. I love the piece and have always wondered about the age. There are no manufacturing marks so I figured the lock/key may be my best bet on guessing the age.
