    Hi Everyone,
New to the forum and I hope I don't ask to many questions as I am new to lock collecting as well.
Hope to chat via site soon.

well, I see I can add an attachment? I would really like any info on the attached lock. I have had this lock for several years and just got the itch to learn more about it.

What you have is the lock part of a 'stock lock'. Yours looks like it may be NOS and have never been installed in a 'stock'. There have been many posts regarding this type of lock, some referred to as Banbury as well. Do a search.
