Look at the beauty I picked up yesterday...
Hi guys,
Just look at this beauty. End of XIX century Diebold, from one of the local banks. This is the smallest banker's safe I've ever seen -- Look at me next to it, I'm about 6 feet high. All original, to the last bolt. Time lock works. And the front wheel -- coolest thing ever! I spent 15 minutes turning it back and forth... Addictive. Oh, and weight?... 2775 pounds. All solid manganese steel, non magnetic.
Anyway, just thought I'd share the excitement.
thanks.

The first small Diebold safe looks very interesting.
And it’s also interesting that the American safe builders produced allot of safes made of pure manganese steel!
