    Default Edward Gascoigne

    I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of ANY information regarding the eighteenth century English lock maker Edward Gascoigne.

    I'm currently trying to research an interesting suite of locks which i think could possibly be by Gascoigne and i'd be interested to hear of any examples in museums, online resources, library information, that you might know of.

    Any help gratefully recieved!

    I can find no listing for such a maker in the standard 1856 reference book. Perhaps you could post an internal picture of a lock ? as the design may help ID it.
