    Default Chubb changeable keylock

    I think this is a Chubb changeable lock, shown here cut-a-way for exhibition. Photographed at the Harry Miller collection.

    Here is a link to a slightly different version of the "Chubb's Patent Change Key Lock", produced in 1910. There is a video which demonstrates the operation of the lock.

    Two very obvious differences between these locks are the orientation of the lever springs, and the orientation of the keyway.
