Chubb / Kromer 1st Patent doc
Chubbs used the 1st Kromer patent. Here are scans of the patent which came to me courtesy of another collector a while back and I just found them on an old backup of a previous PC . As usual click on each image to open a larger version.

Here's some images of an example of the lock shown above.
This lock was found by me on a safe, it is no longer in my collection - yet another lock I should never have parted with :cry:
