old english style brass padlock
These padlocks are again interesting and unknown in origin - believed to be locally made but it is unusual for there to be no name on the lock. Also area of use is unknown but obviously official by the markings.
Two were picked up at a market and the third on Ebay. All locks are keyed alike.
5 "H" gated levers - no pick resistance on the levers.
Has a barrel, curtain and bolt thrower. Pipe and post key.
Two have the letter "G" stamped on the left ear of the lock.
One has the letter "J" stamped on the left ear of the lock.
All three have the government broad arrow or crows foot used.
Two piece construction - cap and sides in one piece and the bottom.
Again any suggestions greatly appreciated - thanks in advance.
