Lock Identify
I am new at all this so bear with me if you would. I have a lock that has PANDA on one side and the number 2587 on the other. Can anyone tell me the identity of this lock? This lock measures 2 1/4" wide slightly over 3/4" thick and 3 5/8" from top to bottom in locked position. I have a key that will open it but not the original. Thanks for any help.

My guess is that it is Asian made sometime in the 60's to 70's China, Japan? Looks to be modeled after a Yale style padlock that was very common for years and still is. You have it listed under Lever Locks but would be more of a pin or disc tumbler type. Hope this helps in your quest.
