Seeking info: Small Round-Body Lever Padlock
Hi all, I have bought a few groups of padlocks recently in order to obtain one or two in the group. All the rest have been cast a side until this weekend (when I had some extra time to spend looking them over, making keys, etc.). One lock in the bunch struck me funny and I was wondering if anyone has any info on it. Here it is:
This is a small, but VERY stout little 2 lever padlock. It seems to be made of nickle plated brass with a steel shackle and it is VERY well made. I need to know the age, maker, country of origin, and value if anyone knows.
Originaly I planned to make the key for it and re-sell it, but I really like this little guy and will probably keep it in the collection. Thanks in advance for any info!

It looks like a CCL padlock made about 1900-20s would be my guess. I remember seeing one in a catalog. The small Corbin padlocks were not always marked.

If it is a Corbin, then it's a little funny.......I used a Corbin marked key blank to fit the key! LOL!
