JHW Climax logo lock
Hello Collectors,
A friend of mine picked up a JHW Climax logo lock with the letters HNG, factory stamped on the shackle. Does anyone know what HNG stands for?
Thanks,
Maurice

Climax made a number of locks for city/state utility companies. My guess would be something like Hartford Natural Gas, you can fill in the name. If it was factory stamped it means there would have been a large shipment to save the end user the trouble of stamping. Just my thoughts, can you post a picture it might help further?;-)
