Interesting site you have there, any chance of posting a few images here as a 'taster' ?

Re: Key Reward Tags
As a matter of interest does anyone know whether the details of the Tags supplied by Chubbs are with the rest of the archive at the London Guildhall ?

I cant answer that question but wondered what the practicalities were of accessing it and what details we knew were actually there?

My latest find a 2/6 reward from Chubb - anybody know what/why there is an E on this - is it for East Queen Victoria St

Re: Key Reward Tags
The was no ' East ' Queen Victoria St, so no it cannot stand for East. Must be something else.

Possibly the postcode, QVS is now in EC4 (East Central 4) but in the early days there were no numbers, only letters, and E (East) covered the whole of East London. Dunno if EC existed in the early days. How old is your tag?
