    It seems we have a world class lock picker on this forum. And how ironic that he is a direct descendent of Henry Towne as in Yale and Towne.

    Hah - well, hello there :)

    The connection isn't direct, but it is there. Our branches of the Towne family separate a generation or so before he was born, but we do share common ancestors. It was discovering that connection that first got me interested in the history of lock engineering, actually, which is a big part of why I've lurk on this forum. I should probably start contributing a little more...
