Date of Bramah lock
I have a mahogany/rosewaodd box with heavy brass edging all round it. Box about 18" x 8" x 6". It has a Bramah loch with the Crown mark, BRAMAH and PATENT (see picture). Any ideas on its date?

Please post a picture of the front and back of the lock as well as the key to help us get a better understanding of when this lock might be made.
