    Default George Price's other book

I was just nosing around on the net and found that George Price published a second treatise on "gunpowder proof locks..." in 1860. Anyone familiar with this book? Or know of one?

There only seems to be one copy of it still left - in a library in England. However there are photocopies and a reprint from Syd Waterman syd@lockcollectors.com

Thanks Tom, I found that a little later on. I will definitely get a copy. Its funny that, at least from my perspective, his first book is so famous and the second virtually unknown. Doug

George Price also published ‘Forty Burglaries’ as well as other non-lock related booklets. He had some involvement with printing and publishing in his early years. There is lots of information about him in the recently published "George Price Victorian Champion of the Security Trade" by Pat Tempest –
