Clear plastic lock mounts
I have been toying with the idea of making lock mounts like the ones I use at work to display locks in my collection. If I was to do this would anyone else like a lock mount for locks they have to show the insides of the lock if the door or wood would cover it up? I am also toying with the idea of making clear pastic padlock displays for padlock collectors in three different sizes so they could fit on at wall rack. What is your ideas in this area and would you buy something like this? I have worked with plastics, wood and metal for most of my life so I thought I could put it to good use in my hobby. My thoughts were to help my hobby show some wonderful locks and send some funds to help this site.
Sad.... I work with locks all day... I come home to play with them at night and weekends. LOLDean Nickel, CPL

Dean, I'de like to see what you have in mind for padlocks. I've got several wood wall display cases with doors with glass in them. Right now I use brass plated cup hooks for the locks and keys. I plan on building several more and have been toying with using something else for the hooks but as yet I haven't come up with anything. I just finished retrofitting a 3'x2'x4" alluminum display case that will display 48 locks that I plan on taking on the road to shows. Mark
