The "Lock Trophy" is described in some detail in The Lock Collector, a newsletter from England, the January/March 2010 issue. It was built by Charles Aubin ca. 1850 and shown in the 1851 Exhibition. It was purchased by Alfred Hobbs, and later by Chubb.

The final clip British Pathe - LONDON MASTER LOCKSMITHS EXHIBITION OF LOCKS & KEYS also shows the great Peter Philips with some of his displays. His collection was sadly broken up and sold at Sotherbies London. I believe one of the locks shewn was sold for £20,000! The highest seller was £23,000 plus commission for the cavalier lock (not shewn on clip). Some of his keys were sold for £5,000 each and more. I got some 'scraps'.

Found some pics of the Peter Philips locks I took at the Sotherby sale. The alarm lock, swinging escutcheon and not shewn in the clip, the top price seller Cavalier lock. The Cavalier's leg has a secret button to reveal the keyhole. The dial registered each use of the key so the master could check if the door had been opened in his absence.
